(2000 Vintage) This rich, juicy, mouth-watering wine begins with smoky crème de cassis and graham aromas. Juicy cassis, brown sugar, milk chocolate, and sweet huckleberries fill the mouth and continue to unfold on the long, silky finish. This beautiful Amelia Rose is very well integrated with long, sweet tannins and nice acidity. 352 cases produced.
Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines(2006 Vintage) This clean but less-than-expressive look at Pinot Noir is, in truth, a fairly small and stunted wine. It is short on the currency of real fruit, and it picks up a slight edge of bitterness from it light, but wholly unbuffered tannins.
