(From 2008 Vintage) One of the benchmarks for what can be achieved with Carmenere. Notions of sandalwood, exotic spices, incense, a hint of chocolate, blueberry, and black currant set the stage for a dense, rich, voluptuous, structured wine that is all about pleasure.
(From 2010 Vintage) The wine is dark and brooding, offering dense and concentrated blackberry, currant, loam, coconut, dark chocolate, bell pepper, tar, espresso, and violets. Full-bodied round and polished with plenty of power and depth. The finish is supple, mouth-coating and persistent dosing out a ton of spicy black fruits.
