Wine Description

(From 2013 Vintage) Over the top and shattering to the veins, these wines possess major concentration and daring avor. The original is the Earthquake Zin which came from an old Lodi vineyard planted around the same time of San Francisco’s great Earthquake of 1906. While mulling over a label name in the vineyard, Michael Phillips thought it only seemed tting to relate this intense wine with the historical quake. These dark and voluminous wines will denitely leave your senses quiverin

Winemaker's Notes

(From 2013 Vintage) The 2013 vintage of Earthquake Cab is a well structured, full bodied wine. Mild tannins give way to dark summer fruit (blackcurrant and plum) and a hint of tobacco. Layered with notes of chocolate and savory spice, this wine is the perfect compliment to a well cooked beef let. Drink now or enjoy over the next several years.
