Wine Description

(From 2011 Vintage) Color: Beautiful ruby red colour Nose: Very exuberant and quite fruity, clean, with very ripe fruit, typical of the Douro region, reminiscent of wild blackberry and black plums. Mouth: It is soft and elegant, displays a balanced acidity, fruit is very much present, soft tannins and an aftertaste that is elegant and very flavourful.

Winemaker's Notes

(From 2004 Vintage) The grapes are harvested by hand at their ripest with the intention of producing a well-balanced maturity. The vinification process occurs in stainless steel tanks w/ automatic pumping and vats, the intention being that, regardless of the process used, the quality constituents that are present in the skins of the mature grapes are passed smoothly to the wine itself.
