(1997 Vintage) "Very dark garnet with ruby highlights. Powerful herbal and tobacco-scented nose. Exudes great richness on the palate, with bright cherry, strawberry and licorice flavors that are displayed with a wonderful sense of freshness. The tannins are lush and the dark berry finishing flavors are intense and persistent. "
