(From 2010 Vintage) Bright red-ruby. Slightly high-toned aromas of raspberry, cherry, licorice, tobacco, cinnamon and nutty oak. A touch of smoky reduction blows off to reveal sweet flavors of red berries, spices and red leaf tobacco. Finishes smoothly tannic and very long, with a sexy leafy quality brought by the franc component.
(From 2004 Vintage) Our 2004 Cerro Sur is a powerful expression of California Cabernet Franc (88%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (12%), with ripe cherry, leather, sandalwood, and red-leaf tobacco notes. The tannins are soft and supple.
