(From 2012 Vintage) Harvest: end of October. Stainless steel tanks maceration and fermentation for 3 weeks, malolactic conversion and ageing part in 25 hl. oak barrels and part in barriques (first and second passage): then selection and blending. Final ageing in 25 hl. oak barrels and 1 year in bottle before the launch in the market.
(From 2010 Vintage) At first sight the deep, intense ruby-red colour of the wine is striking, with small violet arches. The bouquet suggests red fruit, rose petals and hints of wet spices. It is soft and warm to the palate with notes of red prune, cherry and blueberry which are harmoniously intertwined around a lively tannic theme. Fruit of an exceptional harvest gives it a full, enveloping body, which finishes with liquorice and cloves. The fine performance is completed with an aftertaste of black pepper and cranberry.
