Consistent with the nose, the palate also demonstrates the qualities of a well balanced Pinot Noir: refined tannins, bright acidity, a generous mouthfeel and a lingering finish. Due to the cool conditions of 2009 vintage, this wine offers an exceptional fresh acidic structure and fruit balance, which furthers its Burgundian like qualities.
Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines(From 2004 Vintage) Black cherries, a bit of raspberry and creamy oak come together nicely in the concentrated aromas and dense, fairly direct flavors of this rich, and ripe-leaning wine.
