(2006 Vintage) Polished focused and expressive with red berry cherry and floral aromas and flavors that pick up hints of roasted beet and a meaty note as the finish persists against refined tannins. Beautifully made and distinctive. Drink now through 2016.

Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines(2006 Vintage) Bright, red-cherry fruit and suggestions of plums are juxtaposed with a deft bit of oak in both the aromas and flavors of this pert and mannerly young wine. More precise than potent and long on the palate, it is just a bit tight as Oregon Pinot is wont to be, but its unwavering focus on fruit makes for easy predictions of goods things several years hence.
