(From 2009 Vintage) A beautiful medium-bodied Pinot with well integrated rich flavors and enough gentle tannin to add structure. Usually only available in restaurants/bars, it is an excellent foodie wine. The balance makes Emeritus immediately approachable when served. A great go-to restaurant wine that is sure to impress.
(From 2012 Vintage) This vintage from Halberd Ranch is more extroverted in nature. The wine is characterized by a fruit outburst and mild acidity. Fresh fruit flavors of plum and cherry govern the palate with layers of spice and supple tannins. The wine is very approachable and joyful in nature.
