(From 2010 Vintage) Opaque ruby. Blackberry and cherry compote on the highly perfumed nose and in the mouth. Smooth and expansive, with strong punch and slow-building spice and floral notes. The finish is long and energetic, with only a hint of tannins. I'm surprised by how accessible this wine is right now but suspect that it will be even better with another five or so years of bottle age.
