    (2004 Vintage) Good deep ruby-red. Distinctly wild aromas of plum, dark berries, leather, spicecake and flowers. Sweet and pliant but high-toned and sauvage, with a strong spice character to the dark berry, chocolate and game flavors. Firm acids and lush tannins do not get in the way of the wine's sweetness. I find a lot of personality here, but this is not for the faint of heart. This spends one year in a combination of French and American oak.
