(From 2013 Vintage) The Mt. Jefferson Cuvée is named after the 2nd-tallest peak in all of Oregon; the mountain itself was named in honor of President Thomas Jefferson, a pesonal hero of both Cristom founder Paul Gerrie and winemaker Steve Doerner. Made with a blend of grapes from each of the estate vineyards, the Mt. Jefferson Cuvée wine conveys a rich diversity of place, deserving its reputation as one of the most expansive yet stylistically consistent Pinot Noirs in the world.
(From 2011 Vintage) Aromas of black cherry and red berry jam on toast with a hint of wood spice, fading over time in the glass. Light in weight with an appealing crispness, offering a core of red cherries partnering with a subtle note of dusty sage and other savory herbs.
