Wine Description

(2006 Vintage) Wine Tasting Notes A real mouthful of bold, rich and concentrated flavors of blackberry, black currant, vanilla and chocolate. Smooth and polished, the tannins are supple and well integrated with bright fruit acidity, and the flavors extend into a long, complex finish.

this wine is extremely drinkable absolutely lovely and although it doesn't standout there is nothing about it that is bad.

(2002 Vintage) The family formula is also evident in this bottling, and, while the obvious tannins are held in check until the very end, the all-too-quiet fruit is similarly played as an extra in the cast and makes but a brief appearance. The wine would serve in a pinch, but there are better choices elsewhere.

(2000 Vintage) 14% Cabernet Franc; 1% Syrah. Tasting all too much like the inexpensive wine that it is, Chateau Ste. Michelle's basic bottling is on the skimpy side with respect to fruit and comes up thin, blunt and a little too dry in the mouth.
