Bright colour, deep black cherry with a small rim, some brown tones. Vanilla from the new oak/small barrels. Tobacco, cigar smoke. Terre roire, old world. Extra fry. Dusty, leathery tannins. Would age 7-9 years due to its good structure. Pair with med rare steak (tannins with umame) gamey meats such as cenison, buffalo, lamb, bison. Harder, seasobed cheeses such as old cheddar, peppercorn cheeses. Velvet smooth eith a delicious bouquet.
