(From 2009 Vintage) This dense red delivers a deep well of black cherry, currant and plum flavors, with tobacco, chocolate and toast. The firm tannins are well-integrated, and the finish is smoky and fresh.
Medium ruby coloration with light white rim. Pleasant nose of heavy cassis, blackberries, and roses. Flavors of the same with coffee grounds on the finish. Light acids, tannins, and alcohol. A smooth rounded example of the St. Emilion Cru but not without structure or balance. Great pairing with filet mignon.
