Chateau La Mission Haut-Brion Pessac-Leognan

Wine Details

Wine Description

(2006 Vintage) Typically Haut Brion has a complex bouquet of ripe fruit, tobacco and mineral, earthy scents. Rich, ripe, medium to full-bodied and well structured. A wine that seems to balance power and elegance, richness and harmony perfectly.

This wine certainly transcends its 13% natural alcohol and has the same level of concentration found i...

(1992 Vintage) Rating: 4/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Dark ruby, with lovely, creamy, ripe nose of blackcurrants and oak. Sweet oak and fruit on the palate with good balance. Classy!

(2001 Vintage) "Very complex, with blackberries, flowers and minerals. Full-bodied, with fine tannins and a fresh, sweet fruit aftertaste. Refined La Mission. Beautiful. Best after 2008. (JS)"
