(2009 Vintage) One of the best wines from this property, which established itself in the American marketplace 30 years ago, this blend of 58% Merlot, 38% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest the other two well-known varietals, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, is soft, round and generous, with loads of berry fruit, some licorice, roasted herbs and spice box.
nose is hints of berry and chocolate. body is dry, reminiscent of a chianti while finish is smooth and uneventful
