A deep plum color is highlighted with crimson edges in the 2006 Cabernet Franc. It is a medium-bodied wine with nuances that speak to the gentle nature of the 2006 vintage. On the nose, hints of mint mingle with some soy and cola-berry notes, and a nice smoky-earthiness. Nicely balanced with lively acidity, soft tannins and bright flavors of raspberry, sour cherry and red plums combining with pleasant tobacco leaf herb notes.
