(2012 Vintage) No matter what the vintage, this wine is really more than 100 years old. It represents a family's journey to produce an Argentine Malbec that can stand with the great wines of the world. Malbec Argentino is a blend of Catena Zapata's historic Malbec vineyards Adrianna and Nicasia.
a great vintage peaking at age 7 and should hold 3+ yrs. nice ripe fruit balance and oak. something like radish on nose. spicy persistence. 92 pts
Cherry and strawberry on the nose but not very full, black fruit on the pallet current on the finish.
