Just lovely, and gets even better as it breathes in the glass. Wine Tasting Notes The Bench Break Vineyard Pinot Noir displays deep aromas of black cherries, red raspberries, cola and cinnamon, accented by sweet vanilla and nutmeg. A silky textured mid-palate finishes with bright plum and toasty oak flavors and balanced acidity. Smooth, chalky tannins lead to a clean, lingering finish. (hide)

Drifting a bit too far in the direction of tobacco leaf, peat and a background note of herbs, this ripe, full-bodied effort starts out with a fleshy texture before firming up a bit in the latter going. Even with a touch of finishing solidity, the wine remains rather on the soft side and invites early to mid-term drinking instead of extended time in the cellar.
