(2006 Vintage) The vibrant aromas of this wine combine sweet cr+me br++l+e with ginger, lemon curd, fennel and peach. The wine's creamy entry blossoms to a full, sweet, peach and citrus mid-palate. The finish is long with vanilla, roasted oats and nectarine flavors. A wonderful wine with richer seafood and chicken dishes, and delicious with the classic Dungeness Crab of San Francisco Bay.
Wine & Spirits(2006 Vintage) Mmmm, sugar and spice and everything nice! This 90 point wine has aromas of apricots, pears, apples and nutmeg. However, the flavors are bursting with an initial sweetness upon mouth entry and then transition into a kind of holiday spice. It lingers in the mouth afterwards for at least a minute, continuing to evolve, blend and delight! Acacia goes fantastically with sea bass, rigatoni with shiitake mushrooms, or even lighter fare such as crab and mango salad.
