(2007 Vintage) Intense ruby red color. Aromas of cassis, truffles, black fruits, blueberry, black pepper, and chocolate. Black currant and blackberry on the palate with firm tannins, integrated oak and pleasing acidity. This is a well-structured wine with a long finish.
International Wine Cellar(2001 Vintage) Deep red color. Assertive nose of smoky cherry, dark plum, licorice and bitter chocolate, with a spicy black pepper accent. Rich and round, with strong cherry and oak spice flavors that expand on the lush, creamy finish. The plentiful oak tones are ultimately absorbed by the dense, dark fruit.
