(2002 Vintage) Pale, green-tinged color. Delicate aromas of lime and lemon zest, minerals and earth. Dense and full in the mouth, with ripe but brisk flavors of pineapple, lemon and stone. Boasts the sappy fruit/acid balance of a topnotch Wachau riesling. This was severe prior to its bottling, notes winemaker Pierre Trimbach, but does not seem particularly hard today.

  • Decanter
(1989 Vintage) Rating: 4/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Clear and bright, deep yellow in colour with an oily, concentrated, varietal nose. A dry, full-bodied palate with concentrated fruit flavours, crisp acidity and a long fruity finish.
