Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines74% Zinfandel; 13% Petite Sirah; 8% Carignane; 3% Grenache; 2% Mourvedre. Its mix of supporting grapes gives this measured, mannerly wine a slightly different cast in which its blackberryish fruit combines with aromas of ripe plums and boysenberries.
