Since themid-1980s, greater attention has been paid to fruit ripeness,resulting in a wine that is fuller in style and structure. Color: A glistening red-purple Nose: The nose is youthful and exuberant with waftsof black pepper, black olive read more...and licorice.There are background savory charcuterienotes, and a modicum of cedary oak is justdetectable. Palate: Youthful and lively, the wine shows dark fruitsand menthol flavors with an excellent, richmid-palate. Tingling (natural) acidity coupledwith stylish oak and prominent tannins offersgrip, tightness and definition. While this wineneeds time, it is certainly appealing and ofinterest in youth.
