Good deep, full red. Urgent, spicy aromas of blackberry, black cherry and violet. Juicy, spicy and on the lean side, with firm acidity very much apparent today. In a distinctly drier style but finishes juicy and long, with fine tannins and a late note of smoked meat. Distinctly less fleshy than the 2004 but with no shortage of intensity.
