Wine Description

(From 2008 Vintage) Medium ruby color; deep, complex, rich aromas of red cherry and cola with some nice earthy notes. Rich, ripe, bright red cherry flavors with earthy, cola notes; silky texture; good structure and balance with a lovely long finish. This is a rich and silky Pinot with bright fruit and nice length, delicious and perfect for grilled chicken. Drink now through 2015

Why? A collector favorite since the most recent vintage rated "Outstanding 92 points" by the Wine Spectator magazine (see below).....so hurry because this new vintage won't last long! WINE SPECTATOR 2004 VINTAGE NOTES: A wine with amplitude, finesse, grace, concentration and layers of creamy plum, black cherry and blackberry fruit. Deftly balanced, with fleshy, fine-grained tannins. Finish sails on and on, picking up a trace of nutmeg on the aftertaste. Drink now through 2010. 475 cases made.
