Wine Description

(From 2012 Vintage) Has a brilliant pale-lemon color and soft aromas of citrus fruit and freshly sliced Granny Smith apples. A full and rich mouth feel lends to excellent structure and culminates with a long and clean finish.

Winemaker's Notes

Fruit-driven in style, the 2005 Chardonnay offers up-front aromas of green apple, caramel and pie spice, followed by similar rich flavors and notes of Bosc pear and honey. A subtle hint of toasted oak is balanced by a clean, crisp finish making the Liberty School Chardonnay an excellent companion to a wide variety of food and preparation techniques.

(From 2004 Vintage) Limited in volume and limited in range, this meager effort aligns its truncated fruit with a distinct vegetative element reminiscent of dried flower stalks. Lean and citrusy with a bothersome bitter edge rising towards the finish, this one has little to like now and nowhere to go in the future.
