Winemaker's Notes

(From 1998 Vintage) Fruit tiers of pear and apple flavors are well-balanced with toasted-vanilla oak notesthat leave a smooth and creamy finish on the pallet. This refreshing Chardonnay is enjoyable as an aperitif and as an accompaniment to salads, chicken and seafood dishes.

  • Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines
Uncomplicated, green-apple fruitiness is the dominant theme of this slightly candied middleweight, and, while the wine may be lacking in fancy winemaking extras, it is clean and balanced and never less than wholly varietal in character. GOOD VALUE
