If I had to pick a vineyard that is overachieving on a consistent basis, Judd's Hill would be my Napa Valley pick. 2005 Napa Valley Cab is a giant slayer. Plums, Earth, Vanilla, white pepper, apricot, and a super dry finish. I pride myself on turning over rocks to find affordable new world class wines that don't break the bank. This is in my top 5... I wish I could go back in time and buy more 2004 and 2005 JH cabs. People who don't drink wine could tell this is not a house red.
