(2005 Vintage) Wine Advocate Review Rated 97 Elderton's flagship is the single vineyard Command Shiraz, a wine with serious aging potential, and one with which all other South Australia Shiraz must be compared. Big, rich, somewhat complex. This wine looks like it's cloudy, but must be unfiltered to come across as such. Very long on the front and mid-palate. Lots of candied cherry & caramel. Oaky flavours are well pronounced.
