Chateau Cos d'Estournel Saint-Estèphe 2ème Grand Cru Classé

Wine Description

(2005 Vintage) Dense, old vine flavors of cassis and black fruit offset by refined mineral, liquorice and tobacco notes lead into this wine's layered, complex palate which is supported by a firm, focused backbone of sweet, ripe tannins and an elegant, balanced acidity on the extended finish.

2nd label goulee rouge 2005 paper smell, black currant strawberry (light), sweet, easy to drink lasting ok, but would say a bit pricy in comparable

(2004 Vintage) "Loads of currant and blackberry, with hints of Indian spices. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a long, caressing finish. Round and generous for the vintage. Best after 2011. 15,000 cases made."
