(2004 Vintage) Dark red. Lead pencil, black pepper and cardamom aromas are enshrouded in a delicate oaky veneer. Very clean and fresh on the palate, with pure flavors of black cherry, blackcurrant, cedar and woodsy underbrush, and decent persistence on the smoothly tannic finish.

(1997 Vintage) "Fabulous aromas of orange peel, berry, flowers and cherries. Full-bodied, with fine tannins and a long, long finish. Hard not to drink this up now, but be patient. Best Balifico ever made. Best after 2002. 665 cases made."
