(1994 Vintage) Color: Ruby red with dark violet reflections. Bouquet: Ripe fruit, very intense with a slight hint of herbs.Taste: Dry with good body, very velvety.
Wine & Spirits(2004 Vintage) Dark red. Lead pencil, black pepper and cardamom aromas are enshrouded in a delicate oaky veneer. Very clean and fresh on the palate, with pure flavors of black cherry, blackcurrant, cedar and woodsy underbrush, and decent persistence on the smoothly tannic finish.
Wine Spectator(1997 Vintage) "Fabulous aromas of orange peel, berry, flowers and cherries. Full-bodied, with fine tannins and a long, long finish. Hard not to drink this up now, but be patient. Best Balifico ever made. Best after 2002. 665 cases made."
