Winemaker's Notes

(From 2012 Vintage) Intense ruby red. Fresh and floral bouquet with hints of quinine, violets and mimosa, followed by generous fruit sensations of blackberries, passion fruit kola and sweet mint leaves. Plush mouth feel, ripe red fruit and spicy taste. Silky tannins and well balanced palate.

(From 2001 Vintage) Rating: 4/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Firm blackberry and plum fruit on the nose, with a beef extract edge. The oak gives it an attractive smokiness and the wine has a lovely harmonious balance. Drink from 2005 or decant before then. (AW)
