Wine Description

(From 2011 Vintage) Bright carmine red. Expressive and aromatic, with notes of blackberry, strawberry and blueberry, mixed with hints of cinnamon, cloves, pepper, rosemary and bay leaf. Elegant, with flavors of plum and strawberry, enveloped in a so and velvety texture. is wine has fresh acidity and round, well integrated tannins that provide a lingering finish.

Winemaker's Notes

(From 2010 Vintage) Deep, dark opaque garnet appearance. Aromas of ripe black berry fruit with a subtle hint of toasty oak and red and black berry fruit flavors with hints of dried plums, fresh acidity and a long finish with fine, elegant tannins

Gamey, earth, fruity, definitely an expressive nose! Coffe, green pepper sweet, raspberry, boxwood, black licorice, white pepper, nice mouthfeel, tannic, mouthcoating, reminds me of the Retzlaff. Lots of time left. Tannic finish, puckering.
