(From 2009 Vintage) The color is a bright ruby red. The bouquet has fresh, intense aromas of ripe red fruits well integrated with delicate spicy notes. On the palate it is full-bodied and fruit forward with soft tannins and a remarkably long finish.
The 2004 Val di Suga Rosso di Montalcino is a lively ruby red color. It has a generous, fruity character with notes of wild cherry and plum. The wine is fullbodied, yet round and elegant with a long, silky finish. Val di Suga recommends enjoying the Rosso now while its fruit fl avors are at their best, or in 6–8 years when the wine will deliver "pleasant surprises" to those who drink it.
