(From 2008 Vintage) Our 2008 Sonoma County Cabernet is richer than previous vintages thanks to the warm growing season. Aromas include blackberry, currants, dried herbs, forest floor, vanilla and cocoa. The lower yields and ripeness resulted in a thick palate featuring concentrated black fruits, dry cherries and dusty-like Cabernet flavors. The finish is lush and persistent with enough tannins to support the fruit. This delicious Sonoma County Cabernet can be enjoyed now and will hold nicely for the next few years.
(From 2011 Vintage) Our 2011 Sonoma County Cabernet is dark garnet in color with lovely aromatics that range from dried herbs, tea and black cherry to coconut, vanilla and cocoa powder. The flavors are typical of cooler climate Cabernets including black currants, red licorice, earl grey tea and toasty oak. This medium-bodied wine closes with well rounded tannins and a long lasting finish.
