Grapes with plenty of intense flavor allowed Parducci to ferment their 2004 Chardonnay in 30% oak to add toasty vanilla character without compromising fruit flavors. The Parducci Chardonnay has lavish lemon, honey and green apple aromas. Vanilla and oak spice notes linger in the background. Flavors are of pear and apple spice, with a rich, creamy finnish. A classic wine for classic dishes: poached salmon, zucchini fettuccine or fried chicken paired with a cool Waldorf salad.
