(2007 Vintage) We have been great fans of this wine for many vintages, and even after its Gallo owners changed fruit sources, the wine held onto its mix of deep fruit, varietal juiciness and an open structure that made it one of the leaders of the pack. This vintage is both tight on the one hand and more obviously sugary on the other, but it also is lower in fruit.
