(2010 Vintage) Sweet flowers, mint, licorice and black cherries emerge from the glass. Firm and massive today, it's going to require a good bit of patience. The tannins are huge, but there is more than enough density in the fruit to make for an excellent wine.
Wine Spectator(2000 Vintage) "Silky and balanced, with coffee, cedar and plum character. Full-bodied, with very silky tannins and a long, long finish. Caressing, rich wine. Best after 2009. 700 cases made. (JS)"
