(2004 Vintage) Made from 80% Prugnolo and 20% Aglianico Ruby-red in color with violet hues, Ramitello offers subtle scents of plums, cherries, blackberry, boysenberry, spices and vanilla . On the palate, Ramitello is full-bodied with velvety soft tannins. The finish is long with lingering notes of spice and licorice. Excellent with richly flavored dishes, meats, cured meats, small game and aged cheeses. Allow to breathe prior to serving.

Antonio Galloni(2008 Vintage) "The 2008 Ramitello, a blend of 80% Montepulciano and 20% Aglianico, boasts fabulous clarity and freshness, with layers of vibrant dark cherries and plums that meld together with notable grace. Smoke, tar, menthol and licorice develop in the glass, giving the wine even more dimensions of expression. This is a terrific effort from Di Majo Norante. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2013."
