2004 Delon Chateau Potensac Medoc

Wine Description

"The estate, under the same ownership as Léoville-las-Cases in Saint-Julien, shows what can be achieved in the Médoc when care is taken. It is big, round, solid and structured, with complexity coming from dark, sweet fruits and new wood. It is rich and powerful, the aging potential showing from a core of dry tannin." Wine Enthusiast 91 Points

Blueberry, licorice and menthol on the nose. Intense if rather austere flavors of black fruits and licorice. Finishes with firm but nicely ripe tannins and lingering black fruits.
