Clos du Mont Olivet Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc

Wine Description

(2004 Vintage) Kirsch liqueur dominates the nose, but one can also find licorice, high quality cigar tobacco, and plenty of raspberry notes. Deep ruby to the rim, this full-bodied wine has stunning concentration, moderate tannin, good definition, and a blockbuster finish.

One of the more backward 2009s, though this should pick up steam in the cellar. Best from 2013 through 2025. From France." "The 2009 is showing better out of bottle than it was last year. Gorgeous kirsch liqueur note...
