(2006 Vintage) "A top-notch success, the dense ruby/purple-colored 2006 Smith-Haut-Lafitte offers aromas of smoky, juicy black currants, graphite, earth, truffles, and forest floor. (1998 Vintage) "This young Bordeaux shows intense aromas of wet earth, stone and berries. It’s full-bodied, with super well-integrated tannins and a long, long finish. Very well made indeed, and much better than when tasted from barrel. Best after 2008. 9,165 cases made."

(1998 Vintage) "Reticent nose hints at peach, apricot, lemon and a hint of waxy semillon. Supple, fat and spicy, with enticing sweetness; comes across as less vibrant today than the '99, which is not normally the case with white Graves. " -Stephen Tanzer

(2014 Vintage) Intense dried-cranberry and herbal nose with some toasty oak precedes a rich but not heavy palate with plenty of tannic power and a long, dry finish. Needs two or three years to soften.
