(From 1994 Vintage) This wine has a beautiful gold clear first powerful nose with notes of lemons, citrus zest, marmalade, a hint of iodine from all ease. A restlessness, spicy nuances, liquorice, mint and saffron take over. A lot of complexity in this vintage remarkable intensity. On the palate, the attack is round.
(From 1998 Vintage) Knockout aromas of creme brulee, coconut, vanilla bean, honey and orange peel. Lush and seductively silky in the mouth.
Wine Spectator(From 2003 Vintage) "Intense aromas of pineapple, honey, vanilla and apple pie. Full-bodied, with rich fruit that gives a cream, pineapple and honey character, yet the wine is compacted and reserved. Long and lively. This has more of a kick at the end compared with the 2001, but the 2001 has the edge still with its racy acidity. Who knows? Could be another 100-pointer; could even be better than the 2001. Score range: 95-100 - JS" The Wine Spectator Also scored 94-96 Points Robert Parker - no tasting note given
