The 2004 is a very seductive wine, displaying aromas of cassis, black cherries, pomegranite and cedary oak. Medium bodied and boasting soft ripe tannins.
"Wonderful aromas of raspberry and currant. Full-bodied, with refined, silky tannins and a long aftertaste. Beautiful and tender. Best after 2009."Wine Spectator 90 pointsMouton continues to improve on this neighboring property just to the south, where it's created a delicious 2004. The texture is succulent and velvet-soft, the flavors black, shot through with a brighter red-berry aroma. It's juicy and ready to drink with steak frites; this should grow more complex over the next several years....
