Wine Description

(2005 Vintage) The Amat was produced with the best Tannat grapes of very low production, around 5,000 liters per hectacre, obtaining a great concentration, manually harvested in the optimum maturation time. Aged in 50% French oak and 50% American oak for 20 months, and bottled without filtration. Deep intense colour. Long legs on the side of the glass. Rich aromas of ripe red fruits, plums and licorice. The oak gives complex flavours of coconut and fresh tobacco. It has firm structure, with soft tannins, giving it elegance and length on the palate. It has chewy body and will develop well with time.
