(2011 Vintage) Rich in color, the wine opens with a potpourri of traditional Clone 6 aromas of earth, mushroom and cherry. With time in the glass, the wine develops the distinctive aromas of fresh herbs, black olive and pencil lead. Aging in French oak brings a polished finish of vanilla and cedar to the wine. Concentrated flavors, abundant fruit, supple tannins, lively acidity and a long, persistent finish present a finely balanced wine consistent with the classic Bordeaux style of our prior releases.
WINE ADVOCATE # 214, page 3 "This may be the finest Cabernet Sauvignon I have yet tasted from Bell Wine Cellars. A complex bouquet of cedarwood, flowers, forest floor, red and black currants soars from the glass. The color leans toward a dark plum/ruby. In the mouth, this full-bodied, opulent wine is pure silk with lots of finesse as well as a long finish. Drink it over the next decade." 94 points Robert Parker
