Bright red. Fresh red- and blackcurrant aromas are surprisingly primal, with a subtle floral quality adding complexity. Juicy, slightly bitter pomegranate and black raspberry flavors are ungiving and a bit tart today. No obvious rough edges here, but I wonder about wine's tart character.
